Orbit data
GP orbital elements (OMM) and SATCAT metadata, cached once per update window. CelesTrak is a non-profit that publishes satellite orbit data for free. This piece exists because of it. Support CelesTrak.

How it’s made
Every position is computed in your browser with the SGP4 model, in a background thread, from orbital elements refreshed at most every two hours. The globe is drawn with three.js, every satellite in a single pass. Nothing you do here is sent anywhere.

Fine print
- Accuracy
- Positions are approximate, computed with SGP4 from public orbital elements. Not for navigation, collision assessment or any safety purpose.
- No endorsement
