Ghost Wake is a jet ski time-trial you play in the browser: free, with no download and no account. Race 3 laps round the Golden Hour Lagoon, then challenge a friend to race your ghost. A run takes about two minutes. It was made by PICKURPAGE Labs.
Each lap threads 8 buoy gates around the island. Miss one and 3 seconds go on your time. 2 floating ramps send you into the air: land flat to keep your speed. Boost refills as you carve, and your best time is kept on this device.
After a run, Challenge a friend saves it and gives you a link. Whoever opens it races a see-through ghost of your exact run, with the gap shown at every gate, and can send a rematch back. Links last 30 days. Racer names are made up from a fixed list of words, so a link never carries anything you typed.
Keyboard: W throttle, S brake, A and D steer, Space boost, C camera, B look back, Esc pause, R restart, M mute. A gamepad works too. On a phone or tablet, the left thumb steers, the right holds to go and slides down to brake, and tilt steering is an option in Settings.
